Lowndes Square is a contemporary apartment refurbishment located in Belgravia, London. The property was purchased by an overseas investor who wanted to modernise the apartment with a fresh and timeless interior before introducing it to the premium London rental market.

YAM Studios was commissioned to lead the full interior renovation, improving the flow of space, natural light, and overall functionality while creating a calm and sophisticated interior suited to contemporary London living. The design concept focused on balancing the classic architectural character associated with Belgravia properties with refined minimalist detailing and understated luxury.

The internal layout was carefully reconfigured to create more open and connected living spaces. The kitchen was opened up to improve circulation throughout the apartment and allow natural light to move more freely across the interiors, creating a brighter and more welcoming atmosphere.

The material palette combines timeless finishes with subtle contemporary elements. Herringbone timber flooring was selected to complement the period architecture of the building, while contemporary interpretations of shaker-style kitchen cabinetry and bespoke joinery introduce a softer and more modern aesthetic. Bronze detailing throughout the apartment adds warmth and sophistication, while natural textures in timber, fabrics, and finishes soften the overall scheme and create a more relaxed and inviting environment.

The tenant later requested a complete furniture package, which YAM Studios delivered within a short timeframe while working within the client’s budget and ensuring the apartment was fully prepared for immediate occupancy.
